How to Lose Weight And Build Muscle

Losing weight can be a challenge especially if you are not used to exercise. But losing weight can help you become healthier and avoid certain diseases causes by being overweight like blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems and so on

Losing weight needs to be your top priority if you are overweight. You can have a much better life and enjoy life in so many different ways when you are fit and in good shape.

So, here you will learn how you can start slow but steady and if you stick to it you can lose fat and gain muscle.

Building muscle is essential in order to be strong and healthy. Women are afraid to look bulky but dont worry, even if you are lifting 10 pound weights you wont become like superman, but you will get stronger tighter muscles!

Start with walking every day for at least 30 minutes. If the weather is bad, then ride a stationary bike or elliptical machine for at least 15 to 30 minutes. You can do whats called interval training- start slow, then increase speed to maximum for 1-2 minutes then slow than again and repeat this process for half an hour. This way when you push yourself to the max, you burn fat fast!

After the cardio activity, start weight training exercises for all body parts- arms, legs, butt, and abs. You want to build muscle and created a sculptured body, so then you need to do resistance training with weights.

Building muscles also increases your metabolism and your body burns fat faster! Lifting weight will make your muscles stronger and tighter and get you in shape faster!

Having strong muscles is essential in every day activities- carrying grocery bags, walking up the stairs and so on.

When you do your daily activities and chores, you can also exercise- instead of taking the escalator in the subway, take the stairs! Thats a good work out for your legs and butt! Park your car further from the shopping mall entrance and walk! Walk to the post office, the subway station or the library instead of driving- this way you will save on gas and you will get a work out!

Portion Control- when you eat in a restaurant- ask the waiter for to go box and out half your dinner in the box to take home. Eat only half of the portion because the size of the portions in US is huge!!! They always give you so much food in the restaurants here, its like they want you to get fat or have 2 stomachs! So eat small portions 3 times a day and drink plenty of water instead of sugary carbonated soft drinks like cola and pepsi.

Keep you body hydrated- drink at least 4-8 glasses of water during the day. You can get purified or mineral water from the supermarket and make sure that the water you drink is clean. Drink more water, exercise regularly, east small portions of food and you will lose weight fast!

Do resistance training, lift weights and increase the weight after a while and you will build muscles and look and feel great.
