Are you fed up with seeing all those glossy magazines, aimed predominately at women, which show in great detail that losing weight is possible?
Do you ever ask yourself "what about weight loss for men"?
Well this is the dilemma I faced about 18 months ago. There are loads of magazines detailing how to put on muscle and build your body up - but what about us "bigger" guys that need to shed the pounds? I already had the muscles it was just that they were being blotted out by the excess pounds!
So I set about finding a way to achieve weight loss for men that was right for men. After all, that is what I am and the methods I was looking for had to be right for me.
Now it is important to clear up any misconceptions that you may have created for yourself. Such as "nature intended me to be this size" or, "I'm happy this way".
Take it from me - you are wrong!
And you are very likely to be fooling only one person - yourself.
Apart from the fact that losing weight and regaining a healthy physique and creating a mentality that helps you keep yourself that way is great for you, it's also great for those around you. You are far less likely to fall asleep when you should be "communicating" with family and friends and your energy levels will mean that you will want to maintain this state.
It's a bit like rolling a snowball down a hill only this time you're shedding weight not gaining snow!
Not to mention the health benefits. You wouldn't put a mini engine in a Rolls Royce, would you? When you are carrying "too much timber" your heart has to work harder to keep up. You are asking too much of it to keep going for "three score years and ten"in this state.
Don't you owe it to yourself to ring the changes?
Weight loss for men is achievable. You just need to apply a little of what we are supposed to be good at - stubbornness and persistence.Stubbornness to say "this is what I want to achieve and persistence to say "I'm going to do this and I will not be stopped".
